Favorite Things III: Lunchbox Love!

This contest is closed, winners notified, thank you!!

Entry Deadline Extended to take advantage of the awesome sale going now! (Details Below)

Doesn't the thought of that just make you smile. Sending a little love in a lunch box can go a long way to making someones day extra special. Now that school is back in session everywhere this is the perfect time to share one of my favorite, favorite things when it comes to packing lunches. Ok I admit I am one of those strange people (so my fellow moms tell me) that enjoys packing lunches, I'm even excited when it's my turn to be snack mom :)

Anyhow I have always wrote little notes on the napkin or added a sticker to the sandwich baggie or just a little happy face and a note that says Smile! on a post it and threw it in amongst the fruit roll up and yogurt cup. But a few years ago I was browsing through the dollar bins at Michales when I found these little sampler packs of something called Lunchbox Love and I immediately loved them, I bought all 4 sampler packs. They have sweet affirmations on one side and "Did you know?" facts on the other.  For instance, one says "Make today fun!" and on the back, Did You Know..."Ostriches' eyeballs are bigger than their brains!"

So awesome and my son loves getting these colorful little cards in his lunch. There are even some with blank sides so you can write your own.

Alas I quickly ran out of them because they were just sample packs. I was happy I was able to quickly and easily order full sets from the Say Please Shop and have been doing ever since. The real sets come in a seriously nifty little re-closeable case. The cards are high quality paper stock and stand up to being reused. I truly love this product and I feel like I know them since I have watched the line grow from just a few sets to the tons of options they have today! To include the release of sixteen brand new editions of Lunchbox Love for kids Volumes 17- 32 with all new heartfelt messages and interesting/fun new trivia.

They are wonderful and I highly recommend you check them out over, I promise you will not be disappointed, Not to mention a portion of their proceeds are used to help feed children around the world, so you can feel good about that too. These cute, colorful cards are a great way to stay connected to your children throughout the school year (or really anytime ). Place them in your child's lunchbox, backpack, binder or on a pillow at night :) But don't stop there, they aren't just for kids, you can slip them in your spouses luggage or bag before a trip/work and they have lots of different category sets, like Lunchbox Love for Girlfriends, ...Those You Appreciate, ...People You Work With and the list goes on! At $2.99 a set you really can't go wrong. Oh an make sure you check out the new Holiday Sets!

As a special bonus they are offering my readers a great deals too:
  • 10% discount plus free shipping for ordering 4 or more volumes!! (just use the coupon code below) So cool, I'm ordering some more too :)

Since we're on the subject of school lunches, I just have to share another one of my favorite finds, it is a super cute lunch survey that will make your kids tell you more than a one word answer when you ask how their day was. Neat thing to slip into their lunches here and there :) Thanks to the creator, I got the original here
